ALPhFA is a multi-institute collaborative centre that brings together researchers from France and Australia in photonics. It seeks to integrate fundamental research, technological innovation, and training in the field of photonics between major French (INL, C2N, Fresnel, FEMTO-ST) and Australian (Macquarie university, Australian National University, RMIT, Sydney University, Swinburne University) photonic laboratories.
As a CNRS International Associated Laboratory (LIA), ALPhFA provides several mechanisms to promote and support collaborative efforts between our partner institutes. This includes funding for travel between partner sites, support for symposiums, and a bi-annual workshop.
